Update 3/16/20
Our warehouse is located in San Mateo County and we just received "shelter in place" notice for the whole San Francisco Bay Area. This is just one small step away from a total shutdown of the area. As such, we have told all our employees that after today, they are to stay home to stay safe and abide by the order. Our online store will still be open, but please bear with any shipping delays as it'll just be me (John) packing orders. Note: Warehouse Pickup is now unavailable. In fact, I would encourage you to keep the order volume down not only for my sake but for the sake of yourself. These are unprecedented times and the priority should be on you and your family. We'll be here when this is all over. Please stay healthy and stay safe. -John

Update 3/14/20
In-person Shopping
To protect our employees and customers and minimize possible transmission of the virus, we will be closing our warehouse to customers who wish to browse. We will continue to accept orders on our website for Warehouse Pickup. If you do happen to visit our warehouse in person, we will ask that you stay outside to place your order and wait for us to fulfill your pickup.
Kits and Boxes
According to recent research, COVID-19 can stay on surfaces from several hours to several days. The researchers found that it can remain virulent on cardboard for up to 24 hours and on plastics and metals for 2-3 days. The product that arrives at our warehouse typically experiences a transit time of a couple of days. Also, shipments to our customers also experience a similar transit time of a couple of days. Taking into consideration these time windows, orders from us should be safe to handle. However, we will be staying vigilant and wiping down our shipping surfaces and tools three times a day.
Shipments
We pride ourselves on our ability to pack orders within hours and sometimes minutes during business hours. However, because we are making changes to our employees' schedules and shipping procedures to better protect our employees, there is a possibility that our customers will experience a slight delay of a day in getting their order shipped.
We understand that these are difficult times for everyone. As a business, we are prepared to survive any changes in the business landscape. We also understand that this a time when modeling and hobbies like Gunpla will give way to higher priorities, as they should. Please take care of yourselves and should you choose to shop with us, please take into account the measures we are putting in place and understand the impact COVID-19 is having on all of us.
